HKBUAS Wong Kam Fai Secondary & Primary School — Designing "MindfulZone" with XRCC to Support ADHD Students' Emotional Regulation and Focus, Student Innovation (Primary) Certificate of Merit, ICT Awards 2025
Students from HKBUAS Wong Kam Fai Secondary and Primary School used XRCC to create “MindfulZone”, an immersive emotional regulation experience designed to support primary students with ADHD.
Combining no-code XR creation, 3D scene building, breathing guidance, and Tai Chi-inspired movement, the project helps students slow down, practise focus, and regulate their emotions in a calming virtual environment.
The project was awarded at the ICT Awards 2025, demonstrating how student-created XR experiences can extend beyond classroom learning and respond to real school-based needs.
S4 Rock Identification Breakthrough: Using AIXR Gamified Learning to Boost S4 Geography Learning Outcomes
"Rock Identification" has always been one of the hardest-to-visualize parts of the S4 Geography curriculum. To overcome the limitations of flat textbook diagrams, this project utilized the XRCC to create immersive geological fieldwork scenarios. Through Gamified Learning, the tedious memorization task was transformed into an interactive challenge within the vCAVE space. Students can closely observe high-definition rendered mineral textures, effectively reinforcing long-term memory of geographical knowledge for DSE candidates in an engaging learning process.
Breaking Geographical Limits in Education
Kowloon True Light Middle School successfully integrated traditional cultural education with cutting-edge technology. Through the XRCC No-Code Platform, students transformed from passive observers into digital curators. Teachers guided students to establish cross-border "Virtual Museums," exploring global Lunar New Year traditions within the vCAVE immersive space, perfectly demonstrating the high-quality educational outcome of combining STEAM with Humanities.
Medical Innovation & Global Recognition
Using the XRCC Platform, students and Occupational Therapists (OTs) collaboratively converted traditional rehabilitation into an immersive, high-definition experience.
